Europe 2014 // Italy: Stunning Siena

We spent two nights in Siena. The weather was unpredictable and our expectations were similarly undecided. And although I wasn't quite sure what awaited us, I hoped it was going to be good. I'm short on words with how to describe our time there. Each memory seems to evoke a feeling equally distinct. Running in the rain and dodging puddles to get to our dinner reservation in a cellar hundreds of years old will always be remembered. Also a thousand pictures could not do justice to our majestic view of some long forgotten duomo, and its Tuscan backdrop. This, along with the bell tower stroking every hour as it had for centuries seemed to actually slow down time and force upon us the weight of a truly unforgettable experience.
